A collection of sandcast bronze filigree for Helstrom: A New Verse

This collection of artwork is a part of the creative storytelling project titled The Sigils of Helstrom: A New Verse. These symbols represent the different factions of the Helstrom Universe played through the WEIRDrpg: an immersive gaming metaverse based on the folk traditions and legendary creatures and characters of cultures around the world. Since 2013 Ms. Harper has been collaborating with other artists, creators, scholars, and scientists to bring the future of meta gaming to life, and tell an allegory of our world’s diverse ethnic cultures. What unites us in common purpose, and what separates us as unique?

About the Artist

Karina “Kitten” Harper is a mixed media fine artist that specializes in casting bronze filigree. Through object symbology she references forms, shapes and words that are already familiar and reinvents them to ask new questions about what they mean in modern day society.

About Me

Karina “Kitten” Harper is a New Orleans female entrepreneur and mixed media fine artist that specializes in object symbology and global linguistics to tell a universal story of the human condition. She references symbols and patterns that are already familiar and reinvents them to ask new questions about what they mean in modern day society. Ms. Harper is known for her exhibitions featuring bronze filigree castings and quill pen calligraphy. She has been developing the creative problem solving project, Helstrom: A New Verse, and the corresponding role-playing game, The WEIRDrpg, for over a decade through research and development in world culture, philosophy, and interdisciplinary patterns. Sanctuary: After Earth is the second exhibition in the Helstrom series. The first was displayed in New Orleans, USA in May of 2022.
